On 11 October, join us for “Design the Future of Bangkok amidst Climate Change” activities, hosted by UNDP x Talad Talakia Community x Partners x Climate Action Week at Talad Noi Museum:
🎨14:00 – 17:00 | Draw Your Climate Action, Pain the Future of Your Cities
Paint the future of Bangkok on a 3-meter-long canvas and on mock manhole covers together with young artists from Talad Noi and Song Wad community. The artworks will later be displayed across Bangkok, including at the 100th anniversary of Lumpini Park.
🔊14:30 – 16:30 | Run the City We Love: Voices of the Present and Future
Listen to 9 youth policy proposals to tackle climate change at the community level in the Youth Climate Box Contest. We will select 3 winning teams.
📽️17:45 – 20:15 | Love Our Planet Through Unheard Stories.
Join our climate documentary talks and documentary screening.
1. Maa — The Mother’s Dream, Follow a day in the life of Ga-Na, a mother whose world is changing as Pattani Bay transforms.
2. Urban Flame, Experience the sweltering heat of Bangkok’s summers through this urban documentary.
3. The Farmer, Join Cheng, a documentary photographer and local politician, as he explores how farmers are developing rice strains to withstand heat and climate shocks.
4. Stars on the Sea, A look into yet another “ordinary” day when floods engulf an entire home.

Enjoy folk songs from youth bands See You Tomatoes and Umbrella Side, along with hands-on activities with environmental activists — from flower arranging to making household items from recycled materials.
This event is organized by UNDP with partners including Climate Action Week, CCCL Film Festival, Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, Office of Basic Education Commission, Department of Treasury, and a network of environmental practitioners, with support from the UK and German Governments and the Climate Box project.
